Re: ignition cutout

Thanks. Bikes are an unknown to me so sourcing a tilt switch from 1 is a great idea. Scouring th other forums, found a brief referencce to an oil pressure cut out. If i were to Connect an oil pressure sensor to an input and use an output to kill the pumps I think this would also achieve same, I stil...

I had an oops the other day in the escort and found a deficiancy with my instal. whilst hanging from my harness with my wheels skyward, the motor was still running. I figure relying on my reaction time or the fuel lines to purge may not be good for the wet sump engine. Wondering if anyone has any th...

Re: Hello all.......

spent the morning at the dyno. No surprise the top bins were way out, bottom end wasnt too bad though. Added a bit more timing. AE was good. Made 103hp Sounds like it's going pretty well. How did you end up connecting the coils? Did you use the backplane or just the coils on their own? My final set...

Re: New install

i used gsxr 600 on the escort. 38 mm id and you can spread them out if you prepared to make a new fuel rail. I found mine on US ebay, landed in oz for about $100 with wiring and tps for about $150. i've read some guys choke back the bigger bike stuff to suite, not sure if they make em or turn down c...

Re: Hello all.......

hi kendall, the escort's finally all MS'd. Had it running with the std weber for a while to bed in ignition. Ignitions all good now, added a few reverse diodes, caps and revised my earths to clean up ignition resets. With STAG's dwell I've stopped burning up commodore coils. Finally got jack of the ...
