Re: GSXR Turbo Microsquirt

Only in the planning and collecting parts stage at the moment. I am hoping to inject a 250cc two-stroke single. The bike is a Mk2 CRM-250 and uses an ECU to control ignition & the RC valve (exhaust power-valve). Injecting a two-stroke in the transfer ports or by direct injection is the best meth...

Re: GSXR Turbo Microsquirt

That certainly helps with an EFI conversion.

I recently picked up a small E85 compatible fuel pump, hope to use it on my next project. I will be needing a fuel rail pressure sensor and pump controller to keep the current draw down on that build though.

Re: GSXR Turbo Microsquirt

Great work and great to see a bike up.

Is there much load on the bikes electrical system and have you had to uprade the regulator/stator?

Re: Dyno Tuning MS Brisbane

Hi Andrew, If you use TunerStudio the autotune feature is pretty good. Try and get your ignition curve set up similar to the factory specs and familiarise yourself with the software. If you spend some time to get the idle settings close and a rough curve first and get used to the tuning software you...

Re: Mitsubishi V6 Distributor

I haven't had experience with the SD logger in the MS but it may have to do with the formatting of the card. The other thing could be finalising the file before the power is cut. If it is in the middle of data-logging and the ignition is cut, the file will not be finalised & won't be readable. I...

Re: Mitsubishi V6 Distributor

How is the trouble shooting going on the conversion?

I'm on the south side of Sydney. Are you in Sydney as well?

Re: Mitsubishi V6 Distributor

I think you will need to find a wiring diagram for the Mitsubishi that the V6 came from then carry out some testing. 1. The 4 wires on the distributor (if it is an optical sensor) could be GND, +5V, crank signal, cam/home signal. 2. The servo may have power for a dc motor with a potentiometer feedba...

Re: Microsquirt on 6v

I will be interested to see how this project turns out. I just bought a CRM 250 and I am planning to put EFI on it. Have a look into using a Bosch FRP (Fuel Rail Press.) sensor and controlling the fuel pump speed in a returnless system if you want to keep current draw low. Here's a link with some in...

Nice looking project.
Best of luck with getting it running and finished off.
