Re: Hello all.......

I haven't heard from anybody for a while. I see 76stag & littledv8 regularly, but that's about it. Maybe another get together? Sounds like a good idea Kendall. It's been a bit hard to do anything of late, my Son has been a bit crook and he's a bit needy. Get's it from his Mum!! We should probab...

Re: Hello all.......

Hey guys! I've been a bit slack too, but have been doing a bit lately. Kendall, you know that ECU connector you helped me find a while back? Well I finally started making the adapter with it this week!!! I'm having some problems with the MAF on my Suzuki so it's going to MS!!! Is Ian still a...

Re: LPG

^^^Looks the goods, mate. What is this going on? I've been getting bits together for a while now for a "play" engine. Suzuki Swift GTi bottom end and a 16v SOHC head, i'm not using the GTi head as the ports are smaller. I was going to put it on EFI with a set of bike throttles but decided...

Re: LPG

Here's the carb i'm using. It's a variable orifice mixer kinda like an SU carb. The AFR can be changed by screwing the metering rod in and out. Interestingly they make one where that metering rod is moved via a linear stepper motor. Anyone want to have a go at coding the MS for that? http://i7...

Re: Nissan CAS

I haven't been playing with them I have just done some research and have been following the thread on msextra forums. My brother has a Nissan V8 in his shed which will need a megasquirt one day. I was going to pull the CAS out and test it but there was too much junk in the way in my brothers shed. ...

Re: LPG

I ended up getting a carb for LPG delivery.

Will be runnning MS for ignition though. The plan is for a sequential COP setup using Suzuki GSXR coils.

Nissan CAS

I know Devojet has been messing with these things lately, so i'm hoping he has a little input for me. The CAS I am using is off a CA18. It has dual optical pickups in the one sensor with 360 x 1 degree slots around the outside and 4 x inner slots of different lengths. Some people are doing some pret...

Re: LPG

Getting back to LPG, what about the ignition side?

Apparantly you need a pretty good spark for LPG. I was thinking sequential ignition with 4 coil packs would do the job. Either COP type coils or something like EA or LS1.

Re: Hello all!

Hey guys, i'm keen for a meet, but I need to see what my roster looks like. Gimme a week or so and I should know.

My MS is going to be relegated to ignition only by the looks of it. Fuelling handled by a LPG carb.
