I'm still alive! How's everyone else?

Post by wagon »

Hello!

Haven't been in here for ages, thought I say hello!

I haven't been up to much, car wise, but tomorrow I'm changing my injectors and doing some tuning.

How's everyone?
1984 Ford Falcon 250ci inline 6 MS'd of course!

Now improved the way Ford should have built it with a 4speed automatic.

Also with 3.45 LSD for added goodness.

Hello.

I just picked up an MS3 to replace the MS2 in my hot rod. Just collecting some parts so I can change to sequential injection and flex fuel as well.

Cool. I just put a set of 4-hole AU Falcon injectors in the wagon. I also modified the airbox lid. Fun and games.

I still check up on this board every now and then.

I was trying to get a burnt out Commodore ECU to modify into a plug and play to try in my ute (1993 VP Series 2). I have a spare MS2 with Extra code and JB-Perf 4-Channel driver boardhttp://www.jbperf.com/quad_ign_inj/index.html, I wanted a VP ECU just for the connector so I could muck around with the MS or swap back to the original ECU when I wanted to.
Anyway I have plenty of other work & projects to keep me busy for now.

Lemme know if you need that Crapperdoor ecu, I should be able to get you one before my mates excavator eats its favourite food (Holdens).

Hi Wagon.

Any chance you could rescue a steering rack and intermediate shaft (between column and rack) from a commodore.

I currently have a VL manual steer rack in my hot rod but would like to experiment with a power rack as they have a faster ratio. Im pretty sure VL to VP etc are the same or close enough for my plans.

thanks,
Daniel

My mate at the wreckers yard probably could. Give him a ring, 07 46379877, ask for Neil, tell him I told you to ring.

Hi Wagon,

Thanks for the offer. My dad's also looking out for one that he can mail to me in Sydney. He had a reconditioned unit but I didn't want to take that, especially when he still has a v6 engine that he could use it on.
I'll let you know if I don't have any luck.
